goodtwin was established in Jan 2025 by Lucie Watson, who after 10-years of building label services company Platoon, and launching the careers of Billie Eilish, Jorja Smith, Victoria Monèt and more, has seen an opportunity to build a bridge between Aotearoa and the UK for artists, hoping to give them more opportunities and exposure on a global scale.
At our core, we aim to be the good twin in the relationship between an artist and their label. In such a complex industry, we believe that artists are the real visionaries and with our industry knowledge and experience, we can partner together to realise their full potential.
The Noteworthy competition has been launched to help us spread the word about goodtwin to the Kiwi music community and in doing so, we’re hoping to sign an emerging artist who we believe has big potential for success both within Aotearoa and abroad.
